FAQ
How do I get started?
Most missionaries send a camera-ready copy of their newsletter, photographs and artwork via mail. However, if you have created it on computer, you may e-mail it to us with the job information and we will process it immediately. If you are going to have us design the newsletter, you will need to fax, e-mail or send us your copy and photographs and we will get started. You will need to allow an additional week of processing for a first-time design.
What size photographs should I send?
You can send any size; color or black and white. We will then reduce or enlarge it to fit. If you do not send the picture in the exact size of the photo space in your newsletter, be advised that we may need to crop the photograph to make it fit.
What size does my newsletter need to be?
We can accommodate any size newsletter. Most of our clients design 8 1/2" x11" newsletters, either single or double sided, but we do have others that, due to lengthy content, go to 8 1/2" x 14" or 11" x 17". Keep in mind that you may also do more than one insert.
What if I have a reply envelope or prayer card?
We will insert as many pieces as you need to include. Often missionaries have newsletter with response card and reply envelope. If you use a reply envelope, we prefer it be a #6 size (3-5/8" x 6-1/2"), however we can also accommodate #9 size (3-7/8" x 8-7/8"). For prayer cards, use a maximum size of 3-3/4" x 8-1/2" or none less than 6" long.
Does my newsletter have to be on white paper with black ink?
No. We can design your newsletter as simply or elaborately as you want, or we can process any newsletter of any complexity that you create. When you send us your newsletter, simply specify paper color, size and weight (if other than 20# paper), as well as ink color(s).
